The Whole-Child
A child’s confidence and success goes beyond academic performance alone. Students’ interests, hobbies, and social-emotional development play a key role in their learning. I strive to create an environment where students feel safe, supported, and engaged.
Problem-Solving
My focus goes beyond getting students to “correct” answers. I teach students valuable strategies and study skills that allow them to take ownership over their learning. These are tools that are widely applicable in their lives, both inside and outside the classroom, for years to come.
Growth mindset
It is common for students to get frustrated when tackling new or challenging concepts. In my instruction, I teach students to embrace their mistakes and see them as opportunities for growth.
Cultivation of Curiosity
Above all, I strive to ignite a sense of wonder and love of learning in my students. My aim is to develop an intrinsic motivation to learn, encouraging students to push beyond the correct answer alone and instead wonder “why?'“ and “how?”
